How much would the best male football players earn on OnlyFans, should they decide to join in

Social media has turned into a profitable source of revenue for many celebrities from the film, music and sports industries in the past few years. But one particular platform, OnlyFans, is said to be bringing in millions of dollars to those who decide to join – mainly because it focuses on adult content or at least spicy, controversial posts that other social networks would normally censor.

Many athletes, both retired and actively competing, are also creating OnlyFans accounts with varied success – their revenue would depend on their gender (women earn more on average on this website), their popularity, and the content they share. Contrary to popular belief, not all OnlyFans stars rely on nudity to be successful and along with the x-rated creators, there are many who use the platform to share their expertise in fitness, music, cooking, etc.

But what about A-lister football players? Would they ever open an OnlyFans account, even without sharing any racy photos of themselves? And if they do, would their mainstream success lead to huge paychecks from OnlyFans? The team at BonusInsider decided to make an estimation of the amounts famous male footballers would earn if they ever decided to join the platform. We used OnlyFans’ earnings calculator and based on the players’ social followings, we calculated their potential paychecks from the platform. This is, of course, pure speculation for entertainment purposes only. Without further ado, here is the list with the potential earnings of the world’s most-followed football players.

Methodology

To make this ranking, the team at BonusInsider selected the 20 most-followed active and retired football players on Instagram. We used the OnlyFans earnings calculator, which suggests that between 1% and 5% of one’s social media followers would convert to fans (as in OnlyFans subscribers). Taking into account the players’ gender and the fact that being top-earning sports stars they would most likely not publish any X-rated content, we had to come up with a more realistic formula.

We identified several A-list celebrities with public data on their OnlyFans earnings. Based on their subscription rate we identified their relative number of fans and using their instagram follower count we calculated their “conversion rate” from IG followers to fans. This number ranged between 1.03% for one male celebrity and anywhere between 1.33% and 2.88% for the female A-listers we studied.

Based on that we assumed that we can expect anywhere between 0.5% and 2% of the players’ global following to subscribe to their OnlyFans. This let us calculate the minimum and maximum potential number of subscribers. We then used the average OnlyFans monthly subscription fee of $7.20 (as of September 2022) and multiplied that by the number of subscribers. The resulting sums are actually the monthly earnings of the football players but since the platform takes 20% as a commission from all payments received by creators, we took that into account, as well.

Famous football players and how much they could earn if they decide to join OnlyFans

Female athletes, including football players, MMA fighters, and even Olympic champions started their OnlyFans accounts, while many of their male colleagues are also eying the platform and the potential it has for connecting with your fans while, at the same time, making some passive income. Pro wrestler Dylan Bostic, for instance, opened an account in 2020 and even more surprisingly, former American football wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Plaxico Burress also announced in 2020 that he would be joining OnlyFans. More recently, powerlifter, bodybuilder and influencer Larry Wheels also started an account on the platform, even though it lasted only 24 hours.

When looking at football players and speculating how much they could make on the platform, however, we should take several important things into account. The most popular footballers right now are also the highest-paid athletes in the world, so starting an OnlyFans page is an unlikely scenario for them. Still, since they are also among the most-followed people on social media, it would be interesting to estimate their potential earnings on the platform.

After analyzing many football players’ Instagram accounts, we identified those with the largest followings. We then used the OnlyFans earnings calculator to estimate their potential income and the result is quite shocking – Cristiano Ronaldo, who tops the imaginary OnlyFans rich list, would be able to cash in anything between $14 million and $56 million per month.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo

The Portuguese forward, who remains Real Madrid’s top goalscorer of all time, has won dozens of trophies throughout his career and won the Ballon d’Or five times. He was the world’s highest-paid athlete in 2016 and 2017 according to Forbes and today, he still is among the richest people in the world of sports. Moreover, the 37-year-old is probably the most influential athlete right now since he has the highest number of followers on Instagram – a whopping 492 million.

If he ever wishes to join OnlyFans, we’d imagine he would instantly rank among the top creators on the platform. Based on his current Instagram following and the estimation of between 1% and 5% of these people subscribing to his OnlyFans account, he is set to make a huge amount of money, potentially making up to $56 million per month or more than $672 million a year.

2. Lionel Messi

The 35-year-old Barcelona legend is the second most-followed football player and the third most-followed person on Instagram – only after Cristiano Ronaldo and reality TV star Kylie Jenner. Until August 2021, when he signed with Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi has spent his entire career in Barcelona, becoming the club’s all-time top scorer. Among the many trophies and accolades he’s received over the years, he has won a record seven Ballon d’Or awards and a record six European Golden Shoes.

Messi was ranked the world’s highest-paid athlete by Forbes in 2019 and 2022, while in 2020 he became the second footballer after Cristiano Ronaldo to surpass $1 billion in career earnings. So, although a second career in OnlyFans is highly unlikely for him, should he decide to join in, his potential monthly earnings would be in the range of $10.6 – $42.5 million. That would be up to $510 million a year.

3. Neymar

Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, simply known as Neymar, is one of the best football players in the world right now. Over the span of his career, he has scored at least 100 goals for three different clubs, becoming the third footballer to ever achieve this after fellow Brazillian Romario and Cristiano Ronaldo. In August 2017, Neymar transferred from Barcelona to PSG for €222 million, becoming the most expensive player ever.

With 180 million followers, on Instagram, he is the third most-followed football player on the social media platform. If he ever decides to open an OnlyFans account, applying the average subscription fee of $7.20, he would be able to make between $5 and $20 million per month.

4. David Beckham

Retired English footballer David Beckham made a name for himself in Manchester United but later played in three of Europe’s biggest clubs, namely Real Madrid, Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain. In the 1990s and early 2000s, David Beckham was probably the world’s first football player who managed to attain megastar celebrity status – he was a fan favourite among the Manchester United fanbase but, at the same time, he was all over the news and the tabloid headlines in the UK.

His marriage to Posh Spice in 1999 brought his fame to another level – so mush so, that in 2022, almost one decade after he retired as a professional football player, he is still one of the most popular people in the world. Beckham is the fourth most-followed footballer on Instagram, having an impressive following of more than 75 million people. Based on this, we estimated that he could be making between $2.2 million and $8.7 million per month from a paid OnlyFans account.

5. Kylian Mbappé

French footballer Kylian Mbappé joins his teammates Messi and Neymar in the top 5 of the football players who would make the most money on OnlyFans, should they ever wish to join the platform. Despite his young age (only 23 years), Mbappé is currently one of the best footballers in the world and plays as a forward for France’s most successful club, Paris Saint-Germain. In 2017, at the age of 18, he joined the club from Monaco in a transfer worth €180 million – which still is the second-most expensive transfer in football history after Neymar’s.

With a strong fanbase of 72.9 million followers on Instagram, Kylian Mbappé is the fifth-most popular footballer on the platform. If he ever decides to start an alternative career on OnlyFans, he would be quite successful with potential earnings of up to $8.4 million per month.

The Creepiest and Most Brilliant TV Shows about Serial Killers

Within the first week after its September 21 premiere, the newest Netflix crime series Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story became the most successful show on the streaming service, topping the global ranking for the week with 196.2 million hours watched. Based on the true story of one of America’s most notorious mass murderers, the series sparked a lot of controversy after its release. Still, people seem to have a fascination with the dark and macabre, which makes such projects on film or TV extremely popular.

But how does Netflix’s latest crime drama compare to other TV shows about serial killers? Our team at BonusInsider decided to take a look at the highest-rated series on the Internet Movie Database that focused on serial killers. We’ve picked only English-language shows where the ratings from 1 to 10 were given by at least 20,000 votes. Of course, this means that the majority of newly released series are not included, except for the most popular ones.

Here are the creepiest and most brilliant TV shows about serial killers:

1. Dexter (2006-2013)

Dexter is probably one of Showtime’s biggest hits – the 8-season series follows the smartest and most lovable serial killer character ever created in fiction, Dexter Morgan. Dexter, who works as a bloodstain pattern analysis expert at the Miami Metro Police Department, has a secret life – one of a psychopath and vigilante killer who punishes murderers who have escaped justice. Michael C. Hall, who plays Dexter, received a Golden Globe for his performance. Another Golden Globe was won by John Lithgow as Arthur Mitchell, while the show itself had received multiple awards.

2. True Detective (2014-2019)

Starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson in the leads for the first season, True Detective was developed as an anthology series and broadcast on HBO. It received multiple awards, including 5 Primetime Emmys, and was universally loved by both critics and viewers. Rather than being focused on a serial killer, the show is a detective-mystery drama that centers on murder investigations. The first season, in particular, was inspired by a true crime that took place in the early 2000s in Louisiana but added a bit more horror to the story.

3. Mindhunter (2017-2019)

Netflix’s thriller series Mindhunter was inspired by the true story about the creation of FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, famously known as the FBI profilers who began studying psychopaths and serial killers in the late 1970s. Much of the series’ events and characters are, in fact, based on real people and real cases – in the second season, the FBI agents take interviews with real killers, including David Berkowitz, Charles Manson, Wayne Williams, William Joseph Pierce Jr., and more.

4. Hannibal (2013-2015)

The NBC drama Hannibal, starring Hugh Dancy as FBI agent Will Graham and Mads Mikkelsen as forensic psychiatrist and cannibalistic killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter, is based on Thomas Harris’s novel Red Dragon and its sequels Hannibal and Hannibal Rising. The series was praised for the acting and its visual style, receiving multiple accolades, including a Primetime Emmy nomination and several Saturn awards.

5. You (2018-)

You, based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name, is both entertaining and disturbing. It follows a bookstore manager who happens to be a stalker, who obsesses over women he meets and does anything to win their affection. He is also a cold-blooded murderer but the most chilling thing about this show is probably how close to reality it could get – Joe, the bookstore manager, uses social media and other technology to track the women he falls in love with. While the show premiered on Lifetime, it was later moved to Netflix where it became even more popular.

6. Dexter: New Blood (2021-2022)

The miniseries was developed as a sequel to Dexter for Showtime and it starts roughly 10 years after the events in the original show. Dexter Morgan faked his death and is now hiding under a new name in the small town of Iron Lake, New York. He manages to suppress his predatory killer urges at least for some time but fears that his son may have the same psychopathic nature. Although it is considered to be a far less superb production than the original series, Dexter: New Blood still drew a lot of people to the TV screen.

7. The Following (2013-2015)

Starring Kevin Bacon as former FBI agent Ryan Hardy and James Purefoy as serial killer Joe Carroll, The Following is a captivating story about a cult. After Carroll escapes prison, Hardy is brought in to help recapture him. It is soon revealed that the brilliant murderer had been communicating with other killers and had created a cult following who now help him hide from authorities.

8. Black Bird (2022)

The miniseries was based on the autobiographical novel In with the Devil: a Fallen Hero, a Serial Killer, and a Dangerous Bargain for Redemption by James Keene and Hillel Levin. It centers on Keene who was sentenced to 10 years in prison but offered a commuted sentence, i.e. a deal, according to which he had to get close to a suspected serial killer and elicit a confession from him. This prison drama is dark, unsettling, and fascinating and will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat.

9. The Alienist (2018-2020)

Set in 1896, this historic drama follows the investigation of a series of murders of street children in New York City. A secret investigation is conducted by Dr. Laszlo Kreizler, a criminal psychiatrist, John Moore, a newspaper illustrator, and Sara Howard, who is the secretary of newly appointed police commissioner Teddy Roosevelt – the same Teddy Roosevelt who served as the 26th President of the United States. The show was highly praised, including for the performances by lead actors Daniel Brühl, Dakota Fanning, and Luke Evans.

10. Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022)

Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story which stars American Horror Story alum Evan Peters as the notorious serial killer is a limited-series show with 10 episodes that promises an in-depth look into Dahmer’s life and crimes that spanned roughly 13 years. So far, the show has received largely positive reviews from critics and audiences – 94% of Google users loved it, while on Rotten Tomatoes, it has an audience score of 85% and 53% on the Tomatometer. It also has a high score – 8.4 from 23,755 users, on IMDb, which puts it on our list of the best TV series about serial killers.

The Best Coffee Shops in the UK on International Coffee Day 2022

Brits may be obsessed with tea but much to the surprise of the rest of the world, coffee has earned a special place in our hearts, as well. From upscale cafés where you can enjoy a cup of classic Italian espresso to sustainability-focused breweries or hipster-style coffee houses, the United Kingdom has a rich and vibrant coffee culture.

As we are celebrating International Coffee Day on October 1, the team at BonusInsider ventured to discover the best locations to have your favourite caffeine boost. It turns out there are thousands of excellent coffee shops around the country that are certainly worth a recommendation – some are highly praised for their artisan blends and delicious meals, some have impeccable service, and some are the perfect place for brunch or breakfast, or to visit with your dog.

We decided to look at the top-rated coffee shops in the UK but rather than picking the most famous (and most commercial) establishments, we simply wanted to make a list of the best and most unique cafés in the country with flawless service excellence. Therefore we only included coffee shops with the impeccable rating of 5.0 stars on Google Business Profile, and ranked them by the number of reviews:

1. The Coffee Bar, Birmingham

Located on Temple Row, right in the centre of Birmingham, The Coffee Bar tops our list with its impeccable 5-star rating from a total of 252 reviews. The small shop has an extensive selection of high-quality, ethically sourced coffees from independent roasters, as well as their house roast, which changes every season. Plenty of treats, brownies and artisan cakes are offered alongside a classic espresso, honey and cinnamon latte or even a cup of your favourite brew with a bit of CBD oil in it.

2. Alex Coffee, London

Alex Coffee is a boutique shop in Fitzrovia, a central district near the West End, and it is known for its signature coffee prepared and served by owner and experienced barista Alex. The tiny space is more than enough to enjoy an espresso rich in flavors or one of the filter coffees from Red Bank Coffee Roasters. It seems Alex and Miranda are solely devoted to coffee as there is nothing else on the menu – except for some teas, hot chocolate, chai, and matcha, of course.

3. Lean To Coffee – Skye Café, Isle of Skye

The independent specialty coffee shop Lean To Coffee is a striking place with scenic views, a one-of-a-kind interior (naked walls and transparent roof), and a lovely menu. And it’s a wonderful choice for a weekend trip since it’s on the Isle of Skye. Its coffee is from The Good Coffee Cartel, while food options include sandwiches, granola bowls, and toasties.

4. About Time Espresso Bar, Kendal

With a perfect score of 5 stars from 95 reviews, third on our list is About Time Espresso Bar, which is located in the charming town of Kendal in South Cumbria. Here, you can find the finest locally roasted coffee, as well as various teas and soft drinks, home-baked biscuits and pastries. The shop has a beautiful interior with quite unique décor but also nice outdoor seating where customers can sip their coffee or enjoy some delicious cake.

5. Outlier, Glasgow

Outlier, a trendy coffee house and bakery near High Street in Glasgow, is probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing establishments on this list. But the stylish décor is just a part of its allure – the shop offers a wide variety of tasty coffee beverages along with delicious, freshly baked cakes, muffins, and croissants. It’s unclear which contributed more to the top ranking on Google – the coffee options or the baked delights.

6. The Borrow Shop, Birmingham

Ranked sixth on our list, The Borrow Shop in Birmingham’s Jewellry Quarter, is a new establishment where, as its name suggests, you can borrow various things. The idea about this innovative coffee house was born during the Covid-19 lockdown and now, the shop offers a “library of things”, vegan options on the menu, and eco-friendly gifts and homewares you can buy. Of course, there are also plenty of coffees and sweet treats for customers.

7. Coffee Tepuy, Edinburgh

Boasting a 5-star rating from 71 reviews on Google Maps, Coffee Tepuy is the seventh entry on our ranking. It is a specialty Colombian coffee house in Edinburgh and it claims its coffee is grown naturally, hand-picked, and dried “by the Colombian sunshine above the clouds in the Andes”. More importantly for coffee lovers, the coffee here has a rich, intense aroma and balanced flavour, while the sweet treats are fresh and delicious.

8. Mood Café, Huddersfield

This is a café and restaurant in Huddersfield, a former textile hub in West Yorkshire that has become a lovely tourist destination nowadays. The Mood Café, in particular, attracts locals and tourists alike with its delicious cakes, relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. With its halal meals, Kurdish teas, and falafel sandwiches in the menu along with various English treats, this is the perfect fusion between East and West. The coffee is, of course, outstanding.

9. Intenso Coffee Shop, London

Intenso Coffee Shop is the second London location with a 5-star rating (from 65 reviews) and it is a must for every coffee aficionado. It is a relatively small Italian-style establishment near King’s College London and it offers a large selection of top-quality coffees. There are plenty of pastries to order alongside your espresso or latte, sandwiches and Italian treats such as Panettone or focaccia bread with different cheeses and meats on top.

10. Café Frida, York

With a 5-star rating from 59 reviews, Café Frida in York is an excellent place for those who wish to immerse themselves in Latin American culture. It is а beautifully designed, cozy café which offers roasted coffee from Roots, a blend of Costa Rica, Peru and El Salvador coffee beans. There is also a lot of homemade pastries and cakes to choose from, as well as Latin American dishes such as Huevos Rancheros with bacon or Spanish chorizo, nachos, chilaquiles, quesadillas, and more.

The OnlyFans Rich List in 2022 (updated December 7)

OnlyFans is reportedly bringing in extra millions to celebrities and influencers who are willing to share some spicy content with their followers. An increasing number of actors, singers, and professional athletes are turning to OnlyFans where even more controversial posts wouldn’t get their accounts suspended. Recently, a research publisher Statista reported that U.S. model and TV personality Blac Chyna was OnlyFans’ top earner in 2021, making $20 million a month. While this is probably just a rough estimate, social media exploded with reactions to this shocking number and inspired the team at BonusInsider to analyze the monthly earnings of the top celebrities who joined the platform.

So far in 2022, former Baywatch stars Carmen Electra and Donna D’Errico, as well as Charlie Sheen’s daughter Sami and his ex-wife, Denise Richards, have joined the website. In late November, British professional boxer Derek Chisora announced he had launched his OnlyFans account and promised “delicious content”. Other celebrities who recently created OnlyFans accounts are Mötley Crüe’s drummer and Pamela Anderson’s ex, Tommy Lee, English TV personality Katie Price, Brazilian model and professional volleyball player Key Alves, and former UFC fighter, wrestler and model Paige VanZant.

The list continues on and on, and while some celebs are joining the platform in a bid to restore their former glory, others are monetizing their current fame and fandom. According to our estimations, the potential profits of Denise Richards, Paige VanZant, Tommy Lee, Key Alves, and Katie Price are more than $2 million per month. Below are the most popular celebrities who joined OnlyFans in 2022 with an estimation of their monthly revenue.

We also compiled a list of Top 30 Celebrities on OnlyFans. Our team has picked some of the most popular individuals from industries such as movies and TV, music, sport, and social media. Some of the stars on the ranking are former private cam models or adult movie actresses who have become even more famous on social media. OnlyFans creators that offer a subscription free of charge such as Bella Thorne, Carmen Electra, and Donna D’Errico have not been listed since we can’t calculate earnings based on tips and pay-per-view content. Neither are included successful creators without an Instagram presence – all for the same reason.

1. Bhad Bhabie

Rapper Bhad Bhabie, who became famous after her appearance on Dr.Phil back in 2016, is one of the youngest and most successful creators on OnlyFans. She launched her page only a week after her 18th birthday, claiming to have earned $1 million within the first six hours. Currently, she has more than 130 photos and videos to choose from on the page, along with over 170 posts, all hidden behind a paywall, of course. With her strong 16.3-million following on Instagram and an OnlyFans subscription rate of $23.99, Bhad Bhabie has the potential to make up to $25 million in monthly profits from the R-rated website.

2. Mia Khalifa

Mia Khalifa‘s second spot in our ranking should not come as a surprise considering her career choice – she shot to fame as an adult movie star, sparkling controversy in Lebanon where she is originally from. After retiring from the industry, she continued to be active on social media, amassing millions of followers on Instagram, YouTube, and Twitch. And now she’s cashing in on her popularity with her OnlyFans page where she posts daily content that is spicey, yet not explicit.

3. Blac Chyna

Model, socialite, and famous TV personality Blac Chyna was said to be the top OnlyFans earner last year, with an estimated monthly revenue reaching $20 million. However, according to more recent media reports, she claimed she had earned $1 million on the platform in the documents filed during her court battle against the Kardashians. Her income in 2020, 2019, and 2018 was $2 million, the documents revealed. This obvious dissonance between reality and what’s reported by the media suggests that celebrities’ earnings from OnlyFans may not be as large as we imagine. Since most creators hide the number of paid subscribers they have on the platform, it is practically impossible to accurately calculate their revenue. So, according to our estimates, the maximum profit Blac Chyna could be making on OnlyFans in 2022 is a little over $21 million.

Celebrities Who Could Be Making Millions If They Joined OnlyFans

Dozens of social media personalities, athletes, and reality TV stars have already signed up for OnlyFans, making good money as a side hustle. Many more are said to be considering it since OnlyFans is no longer seen strictly as a platform for explicit content. Some creators use the website to promote their music, art, or craft through exclusive releases, paid tutorials, etc. So, we’ve decided to round up some interesting or controversial celebs who have been known to be more open-minded (at least in terms of nudity) and see how much they could earn if they were to join OnlyFans right now.

We also included a few names that have been previously associated with the platform such as Cardi B. The rapper signed up with OnlyFans in 2020 and according to media reports, she made nearly $10 million a month last year. She then deleted her page so we’ve calculated how much she could earn if she resumes her activity on the platform. It turns out that Cardi B could be the most successful star with an OnlyFans profile, cashing in on her huge fan base that includes 139 million Instagram followers.

For this ranking, we took the number of celebrities’ Instagram followers in combination with the average OnlyFans subscription rate of $7.20 (as of September 2022). The calculation for the maximum possible revenue from the platform is based on the estimate of 8% of their followers subscribing.

The Methodology Behind Our Research

We looked at the top celebrity creators on OnlyFans and calculated how much they could earn based on their Instagram followers and the monthly subscription fee for their OnlyFans accounts. But first, let’s see how the website works – there are three ways to generate revenue on OnlyFans:

  • monthly subscription (min. $4.99, max. $49.99; some accounts are free to view for registered users)
  • pay-per-view fee (max. $50)
  • one-off tips via private message (max. $100)

The website takes a 20% commission on all payments received by creators. The platform’s calculator allows you to see how much you can earn by choosing a subscription fee and entering the number of followers you have. The calculation is based on an estimate of between 1% and 5% of your followers subscribing. For our estimate, we took an even higher percentage for those who have subscribed (8%) considering the creators are popular influencers, models, and TV personalities.
