| Updated: Following the success of the Age of the Gods slot series, Playtech has added an online roulette game to its mythology-inspired collection. Age of the Gods Roulette offers substantial winning potential and features a four-tier progressive jackpot system, along with an additional bonus game. It boasts spectacular visuals and a straightforward interface, making it a great option for roulette players of all experience levels.
Interface and Bet Types
Age of the Gods Roulette follows the rules of the traditional game, but Playtech has added several exciting twists to spice things up. The layout and wheel are set against a backdrop featuring deities and demigods such as Poseidon, Hercules, and Athena.
This version is played on a single-zero wheel with numbers 0 through 36, but an extra purple pocket has been added for the bonus game. This addition slightly increases the house edge. However, it also gives players a chance to boost their winnings by unlocking the bonus round.
Age of the Gods Roulette accepts wagers from $1 to $50 per spin at many Playtech casinos, although the maximum limit may vary by operator. You can place the standard range of roulette bets, including straight-up wagers, splits, streets, columns, dozens, red/black, even/odd, and high/low. Racetrack betting is also available.
Distinctive Traits and Features
The standout feature of Age of the Gods Roulette is its four progressive jackpots: the Power, Extra Power, Super Power, and Ultimate Power prizes. The table layout also includes an extra purple betting box positioned above the zero.
If you place a bet in this box and the ball lands in the purple pocket, you unlock a bonus game that resembles a three-reel slot. You receive three spins, giving you the chance to win up to 100x the triggering bet.
The progressive jackpot game is triggered at random. When this happens, a new screen featuring twenty face-down coins appears. Players click the coins to reveal hidden symbols corresponding to the four jackpots. Matching three identical symbols awards the corresponding progressive prize.
Players can also review their betting history, save favorite bets, view statistics, and change the color of the felt. The wheel’s direction of rotation can also be switched.
Wrap-Up
Age of the Gods Roulette is an engaging take on the classic casino game, thanks to its additional bonus feature and progressive jackpots. It offers a seamless on-the-go experience, as it has been optimized for play on most Android and iOS devices.
