| Updated: Whether you call it soccer or football, the sport is among the most popular in the world, with tournaments such as the World Cup thrilling millions of fans. It is therefore no surprise that Mancala Gaming chose this theme for one of its newest slots, Superb Cup.
Superb Cup is a classic slot with only three reels and five paylines. Beyond winning when three matching symbols land on any of the five paylines, there are no other ways to receive a payout. However, if you are lucky enough to fill the entire grid with the same symbol, a 2x multiplier is applied to all wins. The game has an RTP of 95%, and its maximum payout is 80x your bet.
Superb Cup Theme, Graphics, and Sounds
Superb Cup caters to soccer fans, featuring a soccer field backdrop and a huge crowd of excited spectators. The setting makes you feel like part of the audience, heightening the excitement of every spin and potential win.
The sound design is reminiscent of major soccer events, where pop stars often perform as part of the celebrations. You will also hear the occasional roar of the crowd, along with vuvuzelas and whistles in the background. Each time you land a win, the crowd cheers and confetti flies across the screen.
Superb Cup Symbols and Payouts
As mentioned, Superb Cup is a classic slot with three reels that pay across five paylines. A symbol pays when three matching icons land horizontally, vertically, or diagonally on a payline. Your total stake is divided among the five fixed lines to determine the single-line bet, and all payouts are calculated using that single-line wager.
The game features five different symbols, all related to soccer. The lowest-paying icon is the referee’s whistle, which awards 8x your line bet when it appears three times on a payline. The goalkeeper gloves are slightly more generous, paying 10x the line bet for three matching symbols.
The top three symbols are a pair of soccer shoes, a soccer ball, and a gold cup. Landing three soccer shoes on any payline pays 20x your line bet. The soccer ball is more rewarding, delivering 25x your line bet for three matching symbols. The gold cup offers the largest payout of 40x the single-line bet when it appears three times on a payline.
True to its classic roots, Superb Cup features no special symbols such as Wilds or Scatters.
Superb Cup Bonus Mechanics
As a classic slot, Superb Cup is straightforward when it comes to payouts. There are no intricate gameplay features, and you win whenever three matching symbols land on any of the five paylines.
Although the gameplay is basic, it includes one special feature that can trigger the top payout of 80x your total bet. When the same symbol covers the entire grid, the game’s Prize Multiplier feature activates. The symbol then pays on all five paylines, and the resulting wins are doubled by a 2x multiplier.
For example, if you bet 5 credits per spin, your single-line bet is 1 credit. Suppose you land the highest-paying symbol, the gold cup, on all five paylines, covering the entire grid. You would receive the 40-credit payout five times and then double that amount with the 2x multiplier, resulting in a payout of 80x your total bet.
Closing Thoughts
Superb Cup offers a soccer-themed way to celebrate the new season. This classic slot from Mancala Gaming lets players place simple wagers and collect wins when luck is on their side. Thanks to its low volatility, Superb Cup awards smaller wins fairly regularly.
While it offers only a single Prize Multiplier feature, the slot can still double all wins when the same symbol covers all three reels. This boost can deliver the maximum payout of 80x your total bet.
