| Updated: While many players are fans of classic slots, they can easily grow bored with the same old-school layout, which features just a few fruit symbols and several paylines. This is why Red Rake Gaming has combined the classic design of old-school fruit machines with a brand-new way to enjoy spinning the reels: playing Million 777 Wheel.
The slot is built on a grid of 6 reels and 10 rows, providing up to one million ways to win. However, the slot offers a variable number of possible winning combinations, as not every spin will have every reel entirely covered in symbols. The game includes numerous special symbols that unlock potentially rewarding bonus features. Million 777 Wheel is a medium-volatility slot, meaning players can expect smaller payouts more frequently.
Million 777 Wheel Theme, Graphics, and Sounds
There is no doubt that the theme of Million 777 Wheel is inspired by old-school one-armed bandits. The game’s symbols include the typical fruits, BAR icons, bells, and 7s. Its appearance is modest, with a plain background behind the slot’s grid. That being said, whenever there is a chance to trigger a special feature, the reels are highlighted with special animations.
The sound effects are reminiscent of classic slot machines, while the hustle and bustle of land-based casinos serves as background noise. After just a few spins of Million 777 Wheel, you may feel as though you are playing on the gaming floor of your favorite brick-and-mortar casino.
Million 777 Wheel Symbols and Payouts
As mentioned, this unique slot gives players up to one million ways to win. However, that does not apply to every spin, as you may notice empty positions on the grid whenever you set the reels in motion. The maximum number of winning combinations is available only when the entire grid is covered in symbols.
All regular paying symbols award a payout when they appear three or more times on adjacent reels. All wins pay only from left to right, which means every winning combination must start on the first reel.
The symbols in Million 777 Wheel are typical of a classic slot. Fruits such as oranges, lemons, watermelons, and strawberries serve as the low-paying symbols of the game, offering the same payouts when matched three or more times. A six-of-a-kind win with any fruit symbol awards 0.8x your total bet.
Players can receive slightly better payouts from symbols such as the gold bell and the single, double, and triple BAR icons. A six-of-a-kind win with the bell pays 1x your total bet, while landing six single, double, or triple BAR icons doubles your stake.
The highest-paying regular symbols in the game are the diamond and red 7, which pay 10x and 20x your total bet, respectively, when they land on all six adjacent reels.
In addition to its regular paying symbols, Million 777 Wheel features a variety of special symbols. These include the Wild, Gold 7, Silver 7, Gold M, Silver M, Wheel Scatter, Bonus Horseshoe, Gold Coin, and Cash Money.
Million 777 Wheel Bonus Mechanics
Having up to one million ways to win is far from the only special feature in Million 777 Wheel. The game may be inspired by classic machines, but it incorporates a variety of features that can lead to its top prize, which is capped at 3,456x the total bet.
Wild symbols substitute for any regular paying symbol and help you complete winning combinations. However, they cannot replace other special symbols, so you can trigger the bonus features only by landing the corresponding symbols.
The Wheel symbols trigger the 777 Wheel feature when three land anywhere on the reels. This launches a spinning wheel with three concentric rings. When the outer ring stops spinning, you will either win the displayed multiplier or see an arrow that transfers you to the middle ring. You can then either win a specific multiplier or move to the inner ring and spin again for an even bigger multiplier. If the inner ring does not stop on a multiplier and instead sends you to the center of the wheel, you will win 777x your total bet. During this feature, players can also win a Minor, Major, or Grand prize.
As you play the base game, Gold Coin symbols are collected, increasing your progress bar by a certain percentage. Once the bar is filled, the slot’s 777 Minigame is triggered. The bonus game starts with three free spins and three Gold Coin symbols fixed on a 5×3 grid. Each Gold Coin displays a cash value, and every new coin that lands during the game resets the number of bonus spins to three. The feature ends when no spins remain or the entire grid is covered in Gold Coins. During this feature, players can also win a Minor, Major, or Grand prize.
When an X symbol appears on the reels, the wins from that spin receive a 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x multiplier. Another special symbol is the Bonus Horseshoe, which triggers 8, 12, or 16 free spins when it lands three, four, or five times, respectively. During the bonus spins, the first reel has the Cash Money symbol locked in position, while the second reel has the Wild, Bonus, and Gold 7 symbols locked in their respective positions.
Whenever three or more Cash Money icons appear on the screen, all empty positions on the reels respin before being transformed into Cash Money symbols. Some Cash Money symbols may have a 2x multiplier attached to them. The values of all Cash Money icons are added together and multiplied by 2, or by the collective multiplier if several 2x Cash Money symbols appear on the reels.
A Silver M can appear on reels 2 and 3, turning into a Wild and awarding a respin for the remaining reels. When Silver M symbols appear simultaneously on reels 2 and 3, they act as both Wilds and a 2x win multiplier. The Gold 7 and Silver 7 offer special payouts, with three, four, five, or six Gold 7s paying 2x, 10x, 50x, and 200x your total bet, respectively. Meanwhile, landing 3 to 12 Silver 7s anywhere on the reels pays between 1x and 100x your total bet.
When three Gold M symbols appear, they can award free spins or a random win multiplier, or launch the Frenzy Game. If the feature awards free spins, a Silver 7 is locked on the first reel, while the second reel includes another Silver 7, one Wild, and two Gold 7s. The Frenzy Game launches a card game in which your goal is to reveal two identical 7s to win the corresponding prize.
Closing Thoughts
Million 777 Wheel has plenty to offer players. While the game’s design is reminiscent of old-school fruit machines, this slot incorporates a variety of bonus features that can lead to large prizes. Several bonus games give players the chance to land a Minor, Major, or Grand prize, with the maximum payout capped at 3,456x the total bet.
Look out for the special symbols in Million 777 Wheel, as they can provide additional payouts. When several special symbols land on the same spin, their respective bonus features play out consecutively.
