| Updated: Every online casino has a target market, and Planet 7 Casino is no exception. It operates in several jurisdictions but is primarily geared toward the US and Canadian markets. The gambling site entered the iGaming market in 2009.
Despite its longevity in the market, many players are dissatisfied with their experience at Planet 7 Casino. That is why we decided to take a closer look at the casino’s mobile version and provide our readers with an honest assessment of the brand.
The Planet 7 Casino app currently operates under the umbrella of BTK Ltd. It claims to hold a license issued by the authorities of Costa Rica, but we could not find licensing information on the site. Therefore, we cannot verify whether the mobile casino is licensed. The mobile casino does have some positive features, including its selection of games powered by RealTime Gaming.

Planet 7 Casino Mobile Catalog
One of the Planet 7 Casino app’s biggest strengths is its gaming portfolio, powered by RealTime Gaming. Although some games may look a bit dated, they still offer exciting features. RealTime Gaming is a well-established software company that develops games based on a random number generator (RNG), ensuring that every outcome is fair. The independent testing agency, Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), regularly tests and audits the games available on the Planet 7 Casino app.
Although the mobile casino’s game library is modest, it should satisfy most players’ preferences. At Planet 7 Casino, mobile casino fans can revel in an engaging gambling experience with the available slots, table games, video poker, and specialty games. The only drawback is that the mobile casino does not feature live dealer games. On a positive note, you do not need to create an account at Planet 7 Casino to try the games for free.

It is no secret that many mobile casino visitors prefer slots, which explains why this is the most common game category. Slots give players the opportunity to win substantial payouts without having to learn complicated rules or strategies. They also feature various themes, colorful graphics, and bonus rounds. The Planet 7 Casino app is home to more than 100 slots with different reel layouts and paylines. Mobile casino enthusiasts can find all the titles in the Slots category.
Finding a game that matches your interests is straightforward because mobile players can filter slots by theme. They can also sort games by popularity or release date or arrange them alphabetically.
Players who enjoy Asian-themed slots can try Wu Zetian, Panda’s Gold, Gods of Nature, Cai Hong, Fucanglong, and others. Dr. Winmore, Storm Lords, I, Zombie, Lucha Libre 2, and Secret Jungle are among the titles that may appeal to mobile casino fans seeking a more action-packed experience.
If you enjoy cartoon-themed slots, you can play Frog Fortunes, Diamond Fiesta, Wild Hog Luau, Popiñata, and others. The Planet 7 Casino app also features a good selection of fantasy-themed slots, including Bubble Bubble 3, Pulsar, Witchy Wins, Stardust, Sweet 16, Nova 7s, and Lucky 6.

Mobile casino enthusiasts may be disappointed with Planet 7 Casino’s limited selection of table games. However, RealTime Gaming is best known for its slots. The casino app features three blackjack variants: Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack, Perfect Pairs Blackjack, and standard Blackjack.
Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack is an engaging variant that uses six standard decks of cards. Players can place a side bet, and if they are dealt two suited cards, they receive a payout. Perfect Pairs Blackjack also uses six decks. Players can place the Pairs side bet and receive a payout for forming a mixed pair (two cards of the same value but different colors), a colored pair (two cards of the same color but different values), or a perfect pair (two cards identical in rank and suit).
The mobile casino features only one poker variant: Tri Card Poker. Players must beat the dealer’s hand by forming a higher-ranked poker hand. The dealer must have a queen-high hand or better to qualify. If the dealer’s hand does not qualify, the player automatically wins. At Planet 7 Casino, mobile players can also try European Roulette. This game uses a single-zero wheel and has a house edge of 2.70%.

Because the progressive jackpot games are slots, beginners can play them without having to learn complex rules. Titles with some of the largest jackpots include Rudolph’s Revenge, Hillbillies, Penguin Power, Goldbeard, Texan Tycoon, and others. In our experience, the progressive jackpot games feature cinematic-quality graphics, even on smaller screens.

The Planet 7 Casino app offers a good range of video poker variants. The games in the Video Poker category require both luck and skill. Notable titles include Jacks or Better, All American Poker, Deuces Wild, Aces & Eights, and others. One drawback is that the mobile casino does not offer multi-hand video poker variants. However, the available games feature high-quality graphics and load quickly on touchscreen devices.
Planet 7 Casino App Device Compatibility
Demand for mobile gambling continues to grow, which is why many operators have invested heavily in casino apps. Some online casinos offer only browser-based platforms, while others also provide dedicated apps. In our opinion, instant-play mobile casinos are more convenient because they require no download. Browser-based casino platforms also allow players to save storage space.
Mobile casino enthusiasts should know that there is no dedicated Planet 7 Casino app in Google Play or the App Store. However, the gambling site is fully functional on various portable devices. Players simply need to load the site in their device’s browser to start playing. For faster access, they can add a Planet 7 Casino shortcut to their home screen. Although the mobile casino is compatible with all web browsers, we recommend using Google Chrome.
Loading times are quick, allowing players to switch between games without significant delays. The Planet 7 Casino app features a user-friendly interface, making it easy to navigate the casino’s different sections while on the go. Many people use older Android and iOS devices, and the Planet 7 Casino app also works well on these devices.

Planet 7 Casino App Security and Licensing
Planet 7 Casino is not among the most reputable mobile casinos. A major drawback is that the platform does not provide clear information about its license. The casino claims to hold a license issued by the Government of Costa Rica, but we were unable to verify this information on the site. The mobile casino also states that it works with the independent testing agency Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) to verify the reliability of its random number generator.
Planet 7 Casino states that it protects mobile players’ sensitive data from malicious activity by using 256-bit SSL encryption. The casino also has a section dedicated to responsible gambling, where players can learn about the signs of gambling-related harm and find tips on gambling responsibly.
If you have a gambling problem and would like to stop, you can contact the casino’s customer support agents and request a cooling-off period or self-exclusion. Unfortunately, mobile players are not provided with additional responsible gambling tools.

Verdict
Planet 7 Casino offers a broad selection of mobile-friendly video slots from RealTime Gaming, along with numerous progressive jackpot games. The operator also offers various promotions for new and existing players. Another advantage of the Planet 7 Casino app is that it accepts players from many parts of the United States.
However, there is significant room for improvement. The website does not provide transparent licensing information, and players must contact customer support to request a cooling-off period or self-exclusion. The most serious drawback is the number of player complaints concerning slow or unsuccessful payouts. Players should consider these issues carefully before registering.
