| Updated: Madame Destiny is a 5-reel slot with 10 fixed paylines from Pragmatic Play. Steeped in magic, the game features an enigmatic fortune-teller as its main character. The five reels sit within an intricately decorated, gilded casing adorned with tassels, recreating the atmosphere of an old-fashioned fortune-teller’s parlor. A caravan positioned to the left of the reels further enhances the game’s mystical atmosphere.
Paytable and Payouts
As expected from a slot themed around fortune-telling, Madame Destiny uses symbols representing creatures and items associated with the occult and the ancient art of divination. A spooky-looking owl and a black cat serve as the highest-value symbols, each offering a top prize of 750 credits for a one-coin bet. The owl and the cat provide payouts for two to five matching symbols.
The heart-shaped bottle of love potion pays 400 coins for five matching symbols. Five lit candle or tarot card symbols result in a win of 250 credits. Playing cards 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A make up the low-paying symbols, awarding between 2 and 125 credits. The 9 pays out for as few as two matching symbols. Payouts are awarded when matching symbols align from left to right on the reels.
Extra Features and Symbols of Interest
Madame Destiny includes several features, starting with the fortune-teller symbol, which acts as the wild. It can replace all other icons to help create more winning combinations. The only exception is the crystal ball scatter, which cannot be substituted.
The wild fortune-teller also awards payouts ranging from 10x to 9,000x the line bet for two to five matching symbols. It doubles the payout of any winning combination it contributes to. The crystal ball scatter pays 5,000 credits for five symbols and 20 credits for as few as two. This symbol pays in any position.
The crystal ball is also the key to triggering the bonus feature in Madame Destiny. When three or more scatters land on the reels during the same spin, you receive a round of 15 free spins. The feature can be retriggered indefinitely by landing the same combination. All wins during the free spins are boosted by a 3x multiplier.
Recap
Madame Destiny offers a theoretical return of 96.50% and relatively high volatility. Landing a large win may require a sufficient bankroll and patience. The game combines an engaging fortune-telling theme with detailed graphics and several special features.
