| Updated: Evolution Gaming’s Baccarat Squeeze offers an enhanced live gaming experience that closely mirrors the action at baccarat tables in Macau. This live variant of the classic game features multiple camera angles and crisp close-ups, creating an authentic betting experience. The excitement and suspense build as the live dealer squeezes the cards before revealing the value of the hand that has attracted the most wagering action.
Rundown of the Rules and Payouts
Live Baccarat Squeeze is played on a bean-shaped table similar to those found in casinos throughout Macau. The objective is the same as in standard baccarat: predict whether the Player or Banker hand will have a value closest to 9. Wagers on a Tie are also accepted.
Baccarat Squeeze is played with eight full decks of 52 cards each. Cards retain their standard baccarat values: Aces count as 1, cards from 2 through 9 are worth their pip values, and 10s and face cards count as 0.
For hands worth 10 or more, the value is calculated by subtracting 10 from the two-digit total. For instance, if you are dealt a 6 and a 9, your hand is valued at 5 instead of 15. The payout you receive depends on the type of bet you place.
Winning bets on the Player pay even money, while bets on the Banker pay 0.95 to 1 because of the 5% commission. Tie bets pay 8 to 1. You can also try side bets on Player Pair or Banker Pair, which pay 11 to 1 when successful.
Gaming Interface and Remarkable Features
Baccarat Squeeze is set in an elegant environment dominated by maroon and gold hues. Tubes filled with frothing bubbles in the background complement the stylish atmosphere. Evolution Gaming also provides a glimpse of two additional baccarat tables in the background. The dealer takes center stage, dressed in a short-sleeved red dress.
The most remarkable feature of this live baccarat variation is the ritual of squeezing the cards. Both the Player and Banker hands are dealt face down. The dealer turns over the cards belonging to the hand that has attracted fewer bets.
She then gradually reveals the cards in the other hand by squeezing their corners, giving you only a partial glimpse of the pips. This practice slows the pace of the game and heightens players’ anticipation.
In addition, the game’s interface features scorecards with statistics that track trends during the current shoe. These include the Bead Road, Big Road, Big Eye Road, Small Road, and Cockroach Road.
Closing Thoughts
With Baccarat Squeeze, Evolution Gaming recreates the atmosphere of baccarat tables in Asian casinos. The game offers an authentic experience and allows suspense to build through the elaborate squeezing ritual. Its user-friendly interface makes Baccarat Squeeze a suitable choice for players of all experience levels.
