Of course, these optional wagers also have a higher house edge, i.e. their theoretical Return to Player is lower. These include Player/Banker Pair, Perfect Pair and Either Pair, which win if one of the hands comprises of a mixed or a perfect pair. With the Big/Small side wagers, players bet on the total value of all cards dealt in the round.
In addition, Playtech’s Mini Baccarat offers the Egalite Extra side bets, which are quite interesting. With them, players bet on a specific Tie between the Player and the Banker hands – the top payout of 220:1 is given when the two hands Tie on 2, for example.
