| Updated: Microgaming is well known for its massive selection of table games with slick graphics and engaging features. However, Premier Roulette stands out among the roulette variants the studio has produced. The game impresses with its neat design, excellent playability, and range of handy features.
Interface and Bet Types
Despite its fancy name, Premier Roulette resembles traditional versions of the game in terms of rules and gameplay. It features a single-zero wheel and a wide variety of bet types. The graphics are highly polished, particularly the sleek wheel.
You can place a straight-up bet for the chance to win 35 times your initial stake. When you hover your cursor over a betting box on the layout, the game displays the corresponding payout, along with the minimum and maximum stakes.
The payouts are displayed in a slightly misleading way, though. For instance, the game indicates that winning bets on red/black, odd/even, and high/low pay 2x. However, because this amount includes your stake, you still receive even money for these outside bets.
The interface features a sleek racetrack that provides instant access to several advanced betting options, such as Tiers du Cylindre, Voisins du Zéro, and Les Orphelins, which cover specific sections of the wheel. You can also bet on red and black splits, while neighbor bets provide another option.
Distinctive Traits and Features
At first glance, the main game screen may appear a little crowded because it includes lots of buttons that allow you to customize your gameplay. Once you become familiar with them, however, you can use these controls to tailor the game to your preferences.
If you enable the Video Zoom feature, the game displays a close-up of the pocket containing the winning number at the end of each round. You can also control the speed of the game by choosing between two modes: normal and turbo. You can also change the color of the layout.
To the right of the wheel is a history panel displaying the winning numbers from previous rounds. The game features incredibly detailed statistics. These include the duration of your session, the number of spins per hour, your highest win, the total number of rounds played, and the hit percentage of each individual number. Expert mode gives you access to many advanced bets, including the Snake Bet, Random 7, Chip Bomb, Finales à Cheval, and 007.
Wrap-Up
Once again, Microgaming delivers a polished experience for roulette fans with this version of the classic game. The customization options enhance the overall experience, while the game offers an extensive range of betting options, including exotic wagers unavailable in other Microgaming roulette versions.
